M & M GRANOLA BARS

Verena did a great job with the column this week. I am curious about their hot wings and always wonder how they prepare them. I also wonder how many other Amish men like to use a grill?

Verena, you did a nice job on your mother's column this week. I'm sure she enjoys having a break once in awhile. Glad you enjoyed detasseling corn this summer. Hope that you have a good year of 8th grade this next year.

Great job Verena. I like to hear how the day is going when when of you girls take over. I have made your Monster Cookies they are delicious.
Are any of the boys interested in writing sometime?
Karen
Very interesting column, Verena, I like to see a young person's point of view as well as your mother's. The cookies look very good. I am like your mother, I don't buy M&Ms myself because they are so expensive, but this way you can spread them out and get more for your money.

it is always interesting to have the young people's vision of what might be interesting to us. And they get it right as does Mom.
i am going to ck the salsa recipe next. we use a lot of salsa here in so. calif. and it would be nice to try another version of it. of course, i do not have a garden to pick for the ingredients and i believe that results in a serious difference in flavor.
Keep up the good work and helping Mom is a good thing.

Wonderful column. It's always nice to read about the ponies and what everyone has been doing.

Verena does an excellent job writing. Why do they de-tassel corn? You may have posted about this earlier and I have forgotten why.
