Mrs. Hamburger Vegetable Casserole

- 1 /2 cup diced onions
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 /3 cup green pepper
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 3 /4 cup hot water
- 1½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons flour
- ¼ cup cold water
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- Saute onions in butter.
- Add meat anmd cook until all the pink is gone.
- Add celery, peppers, carrots, cube, water, and seasonings.
- Cover and cook 5 minutes over high heat.
- Mix flour and ¼ cup water into smooth paste and add to mixture.
- Turn into casserole dish.
- Spoon mashed potatoes around the edge.
- Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes
