Slapstick Chicken

Ingredients
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts OR 6 split breasts
  • 8 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 8 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 2-3 TB Extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Start by mincing the cloves of garlic and toasting in a small saute pan with extra virgin olive oil.
  2. When the garlic is light brown, remove from the pan and put into a small bowl.
  3. Let the garlic cool a few minutes and then mix in the of brown sugar.
  4. Add salt and pepper and toss to combine.
  5. Then place the chicken breasts in a baking dish.
  6. Then simply sprinkle the brown sugar and garlic mixture over the chicken.
  7. Roast chicken on 450 degrees for 30 minutes or until juices run clear.
  8. While the chicken is cooking the brown sugar will become very bubbly.
  9. When the chicken is done, let it rest in the pan for several minutes before serving
