What is trending this week on Amish365? Well, this past week was sort of the “inbetween week”…turkey has disappeared into the rearview mirror for another year, so has stuffing, and now we begin to turn our attention to Christmas cookies, candies, and Christmas morning breakfasts. Still, the trending recipes through Google searches were all over the map the past week, with some usual suspects sneaking in but also some surprises.

7 PLAIN MENNONITE COMMUNITIES I’D LIKE TO VISIT: I wrote this last year, and I have crossed one of these settlements off my list – Frankfort, Ohio. Click here to see the rest.
MRS. YODER’S FOUR-BEAN BAKED BEAN: This seems like more of a summery recipe, doesn’t it? Although maybe some people are going to serve up baked beans for Christmas dinner. Click here for this good recipe.
BUCKEYE COOKIES: My Mom used to make homemade Buckeyes for Christmas all the time, this is a cookie version of this popular holiday confection, so I can see why this recipe is trending.
CHRISTMAS PEAR CAKE: A partridge in a pear tree? No, just a pear cake, but perfect for the holidays! Click here.
5 AMISH FISH RECIPES: I’m scratching my head as to why this one poked its way into the Top 10 this week…this seems more summery also and Lenten meals are still months away, click here, though, for these recipes.
AMISH CASHEW SQUARES FOR CHRISTMAS: This recipe is more of a “bar version” of the ever popular cashew crunch, click here for this awesome dessert!
