Time for our weekly peek into the world of Amish-made items found on Amazon. Most of what I have to look at are some new products from some favorite vendors. I like to showcase products that are actually Amish made and those are more rare to find on Amazon.
GOO GOO FUDGE: Man, this looks good: creamy chocolate, peanuts, marshmallows....items ordered from the Amish buggy come from various Amish families in the Arthur, Illinois community....this fudge looks amazing. Click here to see and to order.
AMISH-MADE HABANERO BACON SALSA: Hmmmm you know, I like spice, but this doesn't sound all that appealing to me. It is made by an Amish family in Arthur, Illinois and sold through The Amish Buggy. If bacon with bite appeals to you, then grab some chips and order this! Click here.
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CHURCH SPREAD: There's only one thing that could be better than traditional Amish church peanut butter spread. Someone decided to add chocolate to it. Whoa. Hold the phone. That sounds like the next best thing to Heaven. And now you can buy it? Even more heavenly. Click here.
MEATLOAF SAUCE: Now this is quite intriguing. Amish cooks are known for making legendary meatloaves....we've got several very popular recipes on Amish365. But now Walnut Creek has some Amish-made meatloaf sauce that you can actually buy. I bet it is really good. Click here to check it out.
Monetzuma Georgia Amish-Mennonite cookbook
MONTEZUMA AMISH-MENNONITE COOKBOOK: You can buy used copies of this for as little as $2. And it is a wonderful showcase of Plain cooking when it enters the South. You get strong southern influences on traditional Amish-Mennonite cooking, along with some old favorites. I used to have this book a long time ago. I should grab the two dollar one to order, but I've probably ordered enough stuff lately. Click here to check it out and get a great cultural lesson of southern Amish-Mennonite cooking.
