Thought it would be fun to take a look at what we can find Amish on Amazon this week.  Some good and interesting stuff through our affiliate links:

TOMATO JAM:   This is a curious item which is quite popular in Amish homes.  Imagine it being like a spreadable ketchup and perhaps a bit more flavorful.   I've heard this stuff is good slathered on grilled cheese or as a side with eggs.  And if you are like me and sometimes think a thick slice of tomato is too much on a BLT, tomato jam is a good alternative.   You can buy some actual Amish-made tomato jam here. Enjoy!

SWEET PEPPER RELISH:  Man, I would think this would be good on a hot or a hamburger. This comes from Byler's Relish House and anything they made is amazing. Click here.

AMISH-MADE PUMPKIN ROLL:  Man, this time of year...bring it on...to me, a homemade pumpkin roll, chilled and then sliced...it doesn't get much better than that.  You can buy one here.

PUMPKIN NUT BREAD:  The pumpkin train rolls on, with this from the Bread Box Bakery in Shipshewana...some good stuff here...click to check it out..

AMISH COOKBOOK:  Wow, this is one I'd be tempted to pounce on....this is a rare Amish cookbook from the parents of the Amish children that went to Wes Lykens Valley Amish School in Mifflin Township, PA (the Big Valley area).  There are over 700 - yes, 700 - recipes in this cookbook, collected by parents of the students. I'd have to think there are some real gems in this one.  Yes, I am sure you'll find the usual assortment of Velveeta soaked dishes, but I bet there are also some authentic, generations-tested recipes passed down that really reflect Amish culture. Look at the book here.

MRS. MILLER'S AMISH COOKBOOK - Holy cow, this looks like a real treasure, but $860.00???  No thanks...but you can take a look at this cookbook here, just don't accidentally click "Buy".
