Amish Amazon: Roadside Market Puzzle, Blueberry Salsa, Schlabach's Granola, and More!

AMISH ROADSIDE MARKET PUZZLE:   There is something comforting about puzzles.   Perhaps it is the nostalgic value.  We did a lot of puzzles when I was a kid.  There's just something about the slow, deliberative process of piecing together one at a time to form a bigger picture.  In today's fast-paced world where everyone is tethered to the instant information of their phone, it is even more comforting.   An Amish-themed puzzle would be double comforting.  Check out this beautiful roadside market in spring scene.

AMISH BUGGY CANDY?  Hmmmm, not sure about the Amishness of this, but, hey, who can argue with mints?  Check them out here.

Peanut brittle chewies, these look amazing!

PEANUT BRITTLE CHEWIES:  Man, this would be a nice Valentine's Day gift for someone (hint, hint).  This looks like something I'd love, a sort of "bulked up" version of traditional peanut brittle. Check it out here.  These are made by Amish bakers at the Bread Box Bakery in Shipshewana, Indiana. Good stuff.

SCHLABACH'S GRANOLA:  Now there are several versions of Amish granola out there, a couple of them made by Schlalachs (but different families, different versions, it gets confusing).  Anyway, check out this amazing looking snacking granola from the Schlabachs of Holmes County, Ohio. Yum. Click here.

AMISH-MADE BLUEBERRY SALSA:  Made by Scherger's Kettle in Shipshewana, Indiana, this sounds and looks amazing!  I may have to cave and get some of this. Click here.

VALENTINE'S CANDY YOU CAN MAKE:  If you don't want to buy peanut brittle chewies for your sweetheart, you can make some of your own homemade cashew crunch, an Amish favorite and a perfect Valentine's Day gift for someone.  Click here for the recipe.
