Amish Amazon: Tomato Jelly, Oklahoma Amish Cooking, Peanut Brittle Chewies, and More

Always fun to see what treasures can be found on Amazon especially as related to the Amish and Mennonites.  One of the first things I found today were some jellies you don't often find:

AMISH DANDELION JELLY:  If you have never had dandelion jelly before, you might want to to try some. I found it to be very fruity tasting. I once had a PB&J sandwich using Amish-made dandelion jelly and it was quite amazing. It's not something you find for sale often, so you can grab some here.

TOMATO JAM:  Delicious if you slather it on a grilled cheese sandwich or as a side for some scrambled eggs.  Good stuff.  This is another item that it is unusual to find for sale commercially, so check this out here.

AMISH GIFT BASKET:  SIGH, i remember when I first started this website back in the mid-2000s, I thought selling Amish-themed gift baskets would be popular, but I never could find a way to do it that make economic sense.  I tried partnering with an Amish chocolate company and various other entities but I just couldn't pull it off.  These gift baskets from the Amish buggy look really cool and would make a nice gift for someone who likes the Amish.  $70 seems pricey, but when you look at all the stuff that comes in the basket, it really seems like pretty good value. Click here to check it out.

PEANUT BRITTLE CHEWIES:  Man, these look good.  I'm not a huge fan of just plain peanut brittle, but these look amazing.  Click here.

CHOTEAU, OKLAHOMA:   The Amish and Mennonite settlement here is a very old one, very progressive, so it's kind of fun to find a cookbook from that community that is older. I have a cookbook from there but it was published about 5 yeasr ago.  The older books really capture the esscence of the community's cookbook. Click here to check out this book, it looks like only a couple of copies can be found.
