This is a lovely photo taken by site visitor, Mandy, while visiting the De Graff, Ohio area. De Graff's Amish are a pretty conservative group compared with the more "liberal" New Order Amish nearby in Belle Center. So this splash of orange adds a festive fall touch to the otherwise black buggy. Who needs the orange safety triangle when you have pumpkins onboard!:) De Graff is about an hour north of Dayton, Ohio. The Hardin-Logan County area of Ohio is home to a long-established and growing collection of Amish churches.

I love this area. We are not as touristy as Holmes county (which is one of my favorite destinations). Our Amish families are the "mom and pop" type stores. I can get anything from raw milk (frowned on by the health department) to finely crafted furniture.

I love this photo. Country Magazine has a fall photo contest, you should enter this photo. I could see it winning.
