It is fun and fascinating to explore Etsy to see what sort of Amish-themed items are being sold. Unlike Amazon, this is not an affiliate post, I get zilch for showcasing these products and I can't vouch for them personally, I just think they look interesting. Here's what I found this week:
AMISH COOKIES: Yep, actual Amish cookies...And by that I mean you can buy some stainless steel cookie cutters made to cut out cookie shapes in the form of an Amish man and an Amish woman. If you were really artistic with baked goods (I'm not), these could turn into some pretty amazing cookies, I am sure. Click here to see the cookie cutters.
Wow, these fried pies look amazing!
MIX AND MATCH FRIED PIES: I am not normally big on ordering food through the mail, BUT, fried pies are not the easiest things in the world to make. I'm in luck because a little market near me sells Amish-made fried pies so I get them way too much but if you have never tried a true fried pie before and would like to, this is a good opportunity...here are the flavors they have: Apple, Cherry, Blueberry, Blackberry, Mixed Berry, Peach, Lemon, Butter Pecan, Coconut Pecan, Date Nut & Raisin, Chocolate or Coconut Cream. Made fresh to order. If you want to order them or look at them more, click here. The frosting drizzled on the outside is an amazing touch! You don't get that all the time, but when you do - awesome!
PUNNY CARD: Okay, I'm a sucker for a good pun and I like this. Made me laugh. Get a card for someone that says "Amish You." Click here.
MARY YODER'S AMISH KITCHEN COOKBOOK: Man, this is a treasure trove of great Amish recipes from Middlefield, Ohio, I bet. I just don't feel like spending $9 today or I might pounce on this. I hope someone does. Read the description:
