I wanted to share an article that appeared in The Eater this week and, wow, you'll want to get in your car and head for Lancaster County and their array of smorgasbords. I've not explored many of them. I think last time I was there I ate at a place called The Family Cupboard. But, yes, huge buffets are part and parcel of life in Lancaster County. Still, I think I'll always be partial to Mrs. Yoder's in Mount Hope, Ohio. Their buffet, while maybe slightly smaller in scale, is the epitome of authentic Amish cooking tied to the seasons.
