AMISH BAKERY IN WISCONSIN: Ahhh, there really is nothing better than what this article describes: an Amish bakery tucked away on a farmstead. Yes, there are big Amish bakeries elsewhere like Kauffman's and Keim, and they are amazing,but in terms of pure authenticity, I want to visit an Amish home that has a bakery on the premises. THAT is the ultimate Amish experience and those can be tough to find. But there is one. The bakery is about 45 minutes west of Sheboygan, an area that has seen a steadily increasing Amish population in recent years. RETURN TO AMISH - WHY CRITICS CALL IT FAKE -  This show is so far from reality TV....this show is FINE, as long as it is viewed as fiction, in the same vein as Mork N Mindy or ALF. Absolutely fine to watch the show for the fiction fun, but it has zero basis in reality.
