    April 8, Weigh-In

    Published: Apr 8, 2016 · Updated: Apr 8, 2016 by Kevin Williams | 7 Comments

For newbies here, yes, maybe I'm a loon for putting my weight out there for all to see. But, as I've said before, I don't really care.  I am what I am and I'm either overweight or I'm not.    2015 was pretty much a draw as I just wasn't very motivated, but at least my weight held fairly steady.  By the beginning of this year, though, my weight began really marching upward to its peak of 239 pounds on February 19.  That was uncharted territory for me and a little scary.  So, see how I am doing this week by scrolling down.

    YEAR 2015

    JANUARY 20: 233.4

    JANUARY 27: 232.6
    FEBRUARY 3 : 233.6
    February 10: 234.00
    February 17: 232.2

    February 24: 230.4

    March 3: 230.00

March 10: 223.7 (anomaly, was sick that week)

    March 17: 226.3

    March 24: 229
    March 31: 231.4
    April 7: 229.6
    April 14: skipped
    April 21: 231.00
    April 28: 231.00

    MAY 5: 233.00

    May 12: 228.00

    June 9: 231.4

     Dec 17: 234.3
    2016
Feb 17, 2016: 239.00  (at this point grew alarmed and frustrated, switched out sweet tea for water and unsweetened and axed the breakfast sandwiches and replaced with fruit)
    March 9, 2016: 231.2
    March 17 2016: 231.8
    March 24, 2016: 230.00
    March 31, 2016: 228.8
    April 8, 2016: 227.4
This makes it almost a dozen pounds.  The weight has been coming off slowly, a pound or two a week, but I guess that is a good thing.  Makes almost a dozen pounds since my peak and that begins to make a noticeable difference.  I had to go from a size 34 jeans to a size 36 waist jeans at my peak weight, I just literally couldn't zip 34.  But now I am back in my 34s and my 36s practically fall off me, so I'll have to retire those soon.  I don't feel like I'm really depriving myself terribly.  Yes, I have definitely cut back, but I haven't completely cut out all the things like, I just eat a lot less of them.  I think the next few weeks for me are critical, if I can get down into the low 220s then I will have really made inroads.  And if I can do it, yea, anyone can. Really.

That's the key! Don't deprive yourself , just have a bite!!! Keep it up and keep those pants so you can put them on to motivate yourself!! Rooting for you. 🙂
I bet when the weather decides it really is Spring, the weight will come off faster.

Thanks, Robin, I am hoping once it is warmer I can get out and run and that'll speed the weight loss!

      Hey Kevin

I would like to recommend Renee Stephens. She has a program online and audio programs to listen too. I have been listening to her and it works. It is also free.

You are doing great Kevin and I'm proud of you for sticking with the weight loss. A pound a week is the best way to do it. I know you'll keep it up and do better when the good weather is here to stay. You can take Aster on walks and play outside with her.
