    This was a story I had fun writing for the online publication Atlas Obscura.  Some of you may remember that I was in Grabill, Indiana recently and that is why, to explore the Swiss language in the area and see how it is holding up.  I really think around the edges (Milroy in the south and Grabill in the north) you are seeing the language gradually decline,but I think in the Berne and Geneva area the language is still strong.  You can read my article here!
