Okay, time to take our weekly whirl through the blogosphere and see if we can find anything Plain. I came up with several posts to share this week, so let's jump right in!
AMISH CHICKEN AND NOODLES: This is a classic Amish creation and its especially great on cold winter days, so check out this wonderful step-by-step on how to make this comfort food the Amish way. I've enjoyed restaurant versions of this at two of my favorite Yoder's: Yoder's in Sarasota and Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen in Mount Hope, Ohio.
AMISH POTATO ROLLS: I've been trying to share all sorts of easy, homemade dinner roll options with you all the past week as Thanksgiving creeps closer. Today I'll share a recipe for classic Amish potato rolls. They look delicious. Click here for the recipe and step by step instructions!
AMISH DRESS? Okay, this is just a fun post...a fashion blogger from Down Under posted a picture of herself in an "Amish style dress." Pretty picture, pretty lady, but, no, the dress really doesn't have much a resemblance to anything the Amish would wear. While I can find exceptions to almost anything among the Amish I can safely say that I've never seen an Amish woman wear denim, not even a denim dress or jacket. But click here to see the photo anyway.
AMISH SUGAR COOKIES FROM THE COOKIE PRINCESS: Wow, I did not know there was a "Cookie Princess" out there! Consider cookies are one of my favorite foods, this is now one of my favorite people! Click here for a sugar cookie recipe from The Cookie Princess!
THE AMISH BARN: West Virginia has an almost non-existent Amish population (there are one or two communities) so the market is pretty wide open for an entrepreneur to create a store called The Amish Barn. I doubt there's much of an actual Amish connection to it, the probably just sort of trade off the name and ambiance and ship in some product from Ohio. Click here to read more.

The recipe for "Pizza Toss Casserole" sounds delicious...I am just a little confused. There is
Spaghetti sauce listed twice, both the same is this a mistake? Should we make just the one
recipe for sauce? Thanking you in advance for your help.

Ann, someone else said it was listed twice and it just doesn't show up that way on my screen. Weird! Yes, just the one recipe for sauce!
