Just north of Bellefontaine, Ohio is a small Amish-owned variety store and bakery. Â In many ways this is a typical Amish bulk food store. Â Still, there are some differences. This store is owned and operated by a New Order Amish family. Â They are a bit more progressive with technology, especially in their businesses, than other groups. Â So you'll find a pleasantly air-conditioned store, coolers for sodas and cheese, and the ability to pay by credit card at the register. Â Perhaps most notable, 100 percent of the profits from the store are donated to Christian Aid Ministries, n Amish-affiliated aid organization that helps under-served people and areas.
Modest clothing is encouraged by the store staff, so much so that if you arrive showing too much skin, they'll give you something to cover up.
Anyway, it's definitely a store worth checking out if you are in the area. Â Below are some photos.
Loads of fresh apples available!

The bakery is pretty visible at a fork in the road of US 68 and Ohio 638 north of Bellefontaine.
