Blueberry Lemon Bread
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 / 2 cup butter
  • 1 1 /2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 /2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 /2 cup milk
  • 1 1 /2 cups blueberries
  • 1 /4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 /3 cup white sugar
Instructions
  1. Beat together butter and sugar.
  2. Then add baking powder and salt.
  3. Add eggs one at a time and stir well.
  4. Add flour and milk alternately.
  5. Stir in blueberries gently and pour batter into a 9 X 9 pan or loaf pan and bake for about 1 hour.
  6. When the bread has finished baking prick the top with a fork.
  7. Brush lemon juice and sugar mixture on top.
