Glazed Cinnamon Apple Bread
 
 
Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 2 apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • FROSTING:
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Grease large loaf pan.
  3. Stir together all of the above ingredients until smooth in consistency.
  4. Fold in apples.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  6. FROSTING:
  7. Mix ingredients until smooth and apply to cooled bread.
