Overnight Layered Lettuce Salad
- 1 head of lettuce
- ½ cup celery
- 1 /2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 /2 cup of chopped onion
- 1 cup peas
- 1 pint of real mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 8 ounces of grated cheese 8 strips of crispy bacon
- Shred lettuce in bottom of a 9 X 13 pan.
- Layer, one at a time, the celery, onion, green pepper, peas, mayonnaise, bacon, and cheese. Chill overnight.
