Simple Coffee Ice Cream
 
 
Ingredients
  • 7 cups milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin
  • 1 /2 cup water
  • 1 cup strong coffee
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups cream
Instructions
  1. Soak gelatin in cold water while milk heats.
  2. Heat milk and sugar until hot but not boiling.
  3. Stir in gelatin.
  4. Add coffee and salt.
  5. Cool several hours then add cream and freeze.
  6. This is for a 6 quart freezer.
