Courtship Potatoes
 
 
Ingredients
  • 6 large potatoes
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 cups sharp cheese, shredded
  • 2 /3 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (16 ounce cup) sour cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Boil potatoes in jackets until they are soft and then chill overnight.
  2. The next day, peel and grate the potatoes by hand and set aside.
  3. Melt margarine in a large, non-stick pan and then add cheese until melted.
  4. Add rest ingredient except potatoes and heat until blended.
  5. Then combine potatoes with mixture and pour into a butter 9 X 13 inch dish.
  6. Bake uncovered at 325 for 1 hour.
