Amish365 Plus: Quaker Cookies
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1 /2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1 /4 cups flour
- 3 cups rolled oats
- Cream margarine and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix well and add flour, salt, and soda.
- Add rolled oats last.
- Chill dough, then make into balls the size of a walnut
- Roll in sugar.
- Bake 10-15 minutes at 350.
- Also, coconut and chocolate chips can be added.
