Homemade Taffy
 
 
Ingredients
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 envelope plain gelatin
  • 1 /4 stick butter
  • 2 teaspoons flavoring (vanilla, spearmint or peppermint)
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 inch paraffin wax
  • 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
  1. Soak gelatin in cold water, then add rest of the ingredients. Cook to hard crack stage (250 degrees). Pour until buttered pans, pull until white.
