Hot Beef and Cabbage Pockets

Serves: 10 pies
Ingredients
  • FILLING:
  • 2 pounds hamburger
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Brown hamburger.
  2. Add onion and continue to cook.
  3. Add cabbage and cook on low for 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Uncover and cool.
  5. Add salt and pepper.
  6. Now use some of your own bread dough and roll out to ¼ inch thick.
  7. Cut round shapes 5 to 6 inches across.
  8. Pout one heaping tables;poon filling into it.
  9. Fold in half and press edges firmly together.
  10. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes immediately after filling up a pan.
