Homemade Spiced Pecans

Serves: 1 pound
Ingredients
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound pecan halves
Instructions
  1. Whisk the first 5 ingredients until frothy.
  2. Then add pecan halves and stir until well coated.
  3. Pour into a large rimmed baking pan that has been greased.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes at 250, then, using a metal spatula, remove from the bottom of the pan, turn over and bake an additional 15 minutes until crisp.
  5. Cool.
  6. Then place in an air-tight contained or freeze.
