Tomato Cocktail
 
 
Ingredients
  • ½ bushel of tomatoes
  • 6 large peppers
  • 6 large onions
  • parsley
  • 1 bunch of celery
  • 6 red beets
  • carrots
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 /2 cup salt (scant)
  • 3 lemons
  • cloves
Instructions
  1. Bring to a roiling boil.
  2. Put into jars and cold pack for 20 minutes.
  3. Makes 10-12 quarts.
