MIRIAM MILLER'S OYSTER DRESSING
- 1 /2 cup butter
- 1 medium onion
- 1 pint oysters, undrained
- 8 cups soft bread crumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 /2 cup parsley chopped
- 1¾ cup celery. chopped, optional
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Saute onions in butter.
- Cook until tender.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Blend well.
- Add water if too dry. Mix all together and fry in frying pan.
