Raisin Nut Pie

Serves: 1 pie
Ingredients
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 /4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 1 /2 tablespoons flour
  • ½ teaspoon cloves
  • 1 /4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt:
  • 1 /2 cup light corn syrup
Instructions
  1. Put raisins in bottom of pie shell.
  2. Mix together egg yolks, sugar, butter, flour, and spices.
  3. Add syrup, water, vinegar, and nuts.
  4. Fold in beaten egg whites and then our over the raisins.
  5. Bake at 425 for 30 minutes
