Raisin Nut Pie
- 2 eggs, separated
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 /4 cup butter, melted
- 1 1 /2 tablespoons flour
- ½ teaspoon cloves
- 1 /4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt:
- 1 /2 cup light corn syrup
- Put raisins in bottom of pie shell.
- Mix together egg yolks, sugar, butter, flour, and spices.
- Add syrup, water, vinegar, and nuts.
- Fold in beaten egg whites and then our over the raisins.
- Bake at 425 for 30 minutes
