Sweet and Sour Salsa
 
 
Serves: 4 1 /2 cups
Ingredients
  • 1 15 ounce can field peas, drained
  • 1 11 ounce can shoepeg corn, drained
  • 1 large red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 /2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 /3 cup sugar
  • 1 /2 cup vinegar
  • 1 /4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Tiger sauce
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients and set aside.
  2. Mix all ingredients and pour over vegetables.
  3. Stir to mix.
  4. Let sit in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight before serving.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips.
  6. Makes approximately 4 1 /2 cups.
  7. Serves 10 - 12.
