The Amish Cook: Grilling Up The Best Burgers!
 
 
Ingredients
  • SAUCE:
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon liquid smoke
  • ⅛ teaspoon pepper
  • BURGERS:
  • 1½ pound beef
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • ⅓ cup oatmeal
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon onion salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. Mix burger ingredients well and shape into patties.
  2. Mix sauce ingredients and use the sauce to baste while grilling.
  3. Cook on each side until desired doneness.
  4. Moist and tasty, serves 6!
