Amish Autumn Apple Salad
- 20 ounces undrained, crushed pineapple
- 2 /3 cup sugar
- 3 ounces lemon jello
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups diced, unpeeled apples
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup whipped topping
- In a saucepan combine pineapple and sugar.
- Bring to a boil.
- Boil for 3 minutes.
- Add Jello.
- Stir until dissolved.
- Add cream cheese.
- Stir until thoroughly combined.
- Cool.
- Fold in apples, nuts, and whipped topping.
