Homemade Rabbit Ears
- 1 cup sour milk
- 2 tablespoons cream
- 1 teaspoon baking soda in milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 /4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 2 1 /2 cups flour
- Mix and let stand for 2 hours in the ice box.
- Roll out and cut into rabbit ear shapes and fry in deep fat.
