This is our Friday walk down memory lane where I repost some posts that you might have missed in previous years.
We are now in the midst of apple season. Wow, I love fresh apples. Especially honeycrisp. Although I do like Galas also. Just a nice, juicy, crisp apple....you can't beat it really. Amish cooks are eagerly harvesting apples this time of year for use in cakes, canning, and pies. Yum. Which brings us to our first post. Enjoy!
AMISH APPLE PUDDING CAKE: Yum! Click here for the recipe.
AMISH BLACKBERRY CRISP: Blackberries aren't my favorite, but this with a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream on top is Heaven! Click here.
AMISH WEDDING THOUGHTS: Click here to see a serene scene from an Amish wedding and read my thoughts. This was from several years ago.
HOMEMADE HAM LOAF: Comfort food at its best! Click here for the recipe!
BUG TRAPS: Mosquitos have been terrible this year in my neighborhood...maybe I should have put out one of these homemade insect traps! Click here to see how to make one.
