Holiday Butter Tarts are popular among the Canadian Amish.

HOLIDAY BUTTER TARTS:  These delicious treats are popular in Canadian Amish and Mennonite communities.  I've not seen them embraced by Amish in the US much, but they should be - by all of us - they are delicious!:)  Click here for the recipe.   They are like eating miniature pies and look great on a holiday tray, perfect sweet finger food for a gathering.

ROSANNA'S CHRISTMAS DINNER: Peek at some pictures from a past Christmas dinner at the Bauman household. For newcomers to this website, Rosanna Bauman is German Baptist Brethren and they are more welcoming of cameras that the Amish.

ROSANNA'S NO-MESS MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN:  Mmmmm, this is a good holiday treat and, as the name implies, there really isn't a mess involved. Good stuff. Click here for the recipe.

MENNONITE CARAMEL CAKE:  The name speaks for itself. Yum. Click here for the recipe.

FRIDAY FUN - CAKE POPS:  Read about how this sweet dessert on a stick has captured the public's imagination.  But not mine, if I want cake, I want a slice on a plate that I can eat a lot of, not a single bit of bliss on a stick. Click here to read more about Cake Pops.
