    Frosted Sour Cream Cookies

    Published: May 27, 2014 · Updated: May 27, 2014 by Kevin Williams | 4 Comments

No, not THE Amanda Yoder (founder of Yoder's Restaurant in Sarasota, Florida).

That is the thing about Amish names, I can use them in a recipe title without violating privacy because there are probably a thousand Amanda Yoders in Amish Country!:).

This one is from northern Indiana and this definitely sounds like a quintessentially Amish scratch-made, simple (but delicious) cookie. Give it a try and let us know what you think!...

Do you have a chicken(or turkey) corn soup recipe from the Pennsylvania Amish? I had my brief honeymoon in that area in the mid sixties and ate at a restaurant featuring this soup.
