Sheesh. It didn't take long. Â Literally within minutes of me posting the photo, Amy Peggans-Cyzick correctly identified the photo (Amy, if you are reading this email me at kwilliams@oasisnewsfeatures if you'd like to claim your free copy of the Williams Guide to Amish Country). Â I thought someone would guess it, but not that fast! Â And then others from her town began chiming in with the correct answer. Â Where is the above photo taken?

Heck, see that bay window on the right? Â The man who works there even posted on our Amish365.com Facebook page identifying the spot.
" I sit in that bay window up there on the left and see people take this picture 50 times a day," wrote Abe Halterman.
On Facebook many people were guessing Shipshewana but, no, this is Dayton, Virginia, home to a community of Old Order Mennonites.
So, my parents were moseying through Mennonite country on their way to Richmond, Virginia. Â I love the Dayton community and would go back a gazillion times if I could. You can check out a past visit to Dayton that I made here.
