Hi, I'm Kevin...and I have been a journalist for over 30 years. I write for many major publications, ones that you have definitely read! I have covered race relations, urban unrest, politics, infrastructure, and the economy. Along the way, I have won an award or two for my work and was part of a Pulitzer Prize-nominated team that covered mass shootings in the summer of 2019.
Mixed into all of that, I spent a decade or more writing about and exploring Amish and Mennonite culture. From those explorations, I created Amish365, a place where people can go to learn about and explore Amish culture. And that is, presumably, how you found me. But because I am a journalist at heart I like to opine on all sorts of topics and Amish365.com isn't really the place for that. So sign up for my newsletter, Patience, to get my thoughts on a variety of topics that I cover in my journalism profession (and you won't read a bunch of fire-breathing political opinions from me, I consider myself a centrist and, yeah, it's lonely in the middle).
