Amy and Matt Roloff from the TLC Show "Little People, Big World"
By Kevin Williams
I posted about the TLC "reality" show, Little People, Big World a year or so ago. Â I don't really know why I still watch it or even post about it. Â Well, I know why I watch it. My wife turns it on sometimes, more as "background TV." Â And the other night the show was on and I found myself watching. Â But, sheesh, the show just seems to have strayed so far from its roots. Â Everything seems super-scripted, super-staged. Â I mean, you do "get to know" the principle players in the show over the years so it kind of draws you in to follow their life but, sheesh, Â I'd rather flip on a baseball game. Â But guys don't usually control the remote in the house and even if I did commandeer the control to turn on my beloved Cincinnati Reds, I'd be disappointed because they are about the worst team in baseball this year.
Regular watchers of the show know that the main couple , Amy and Matt, got divorced last year but somehow they've found a way to make the show continue.
The TLC network seems to have a knack for destroying families from the Gosselins to the Roloffs to Honey Boo Boo.
So, do any of our Amish365 regulars watch the Roloffs? Â If so, what do you think of the show these days? Â To me, it just seems like a bore as the Roloffs flutter from one pre-planned scripted event to the next...
