Okay, obviously I am not happy with that.  But, you know, one has to look at the big picture or you'll give up.  And, frankly, if I am 210 pounds and I fluctuate here and there, I don't care.  That's the price you pay for indulging.  I don't like seeing the scale up 3 pounds at this point, though.  Not good.  So next week I'll really hit the diet discipline hard and I do have one big ace in my pocket: running and biking.  After battle knee pain most of last year, my knee feels great this year and the weather finally appears to be lurching towards warmth so I expected in the weeks ahead to be doing lots of running and biking (I think Aster will love the bike seat) and I expect that, combined with diet, to keep my weight heading down.  So this was an unfortunate step back, but I think it's just a mild one.

So, what were the culprits?  Rachel got us this soda, a store-brand cola with real sugar.  SIGH, that means real calories, though, too.  It was good. I broke down and had a can of it while I was working yesterday.  Not good.  Also, someone in the family had a birthday and these donuts from Bear Creek Donuts in Miamisburg, Ohio kept calling my name.  SIGH, Fruity Pebbles on a doughnut, isn't that genius?

Keven I honestly do not see you as overweight at all. In your pictures you look great. Could be a couple extra pounds make you feel uncomfortable. Relax! If you stay just like you are, I am sure you'll have no problem. You seem to get plenty of exercise with traveling around the area to do your Amish articles. Let alone keeping up with a two yr. old. Aster is so precious. Such a blessed little girl to have parents that not only love her but take the time to do things with her, teaching her along the way. Keep it up daddy and mommy. God bless your little family. Congratulations on your expected little one.
