Whew, it's been a slow spiral downward. Â I know I'd lose weight a heck of a lot faster if I wouldn't have the occasional sodas and late-night pizza rolls, I am sure. Â Psychologically, it feels great to have breached the 225 mark. Â I'm sure I'll fluctuate back up over 225, especially over the food-filled Memorial Day weekend, but 224 is probably the lowest weight I've been since I got married. Â Â What makes me feel relatively good about this weight loss is that I've done it all without really adding much exercise to the mix, but now that the warm weather seems to have finally settled in I'll be running a lot more and that should really help with taking off pounds. Â My goal has been to breach the 220 mark sometime in mid-June and I think I'm on pace to do that. Â I ran two miles last night after dark and that felt great. I think the last time I tried running I was near my peak weight, so I definitely noticed a difference.

Kevin, 5 pounds, that's great! It's a tough journey, I know I've been traveling that road all my life. Keep up the good work, an occasional slip is OK now and again.
