What a serene scene this is! This is the view from a buggy early on a snowy Michigan morning. Even in the cold, a buggy ride is relaxing IF it's a covered buggy like this. Â Open buggies like the ones used in Berne, Indiana; Seymour, Missouri (it's warmer there, at least) and other locales can expose the rider to a brutal, biting wind. But in a covered buggy, it can almost be cozy. With a few people to put off body heat and maybe a blanket or two it can be downright toasty sometimes. Â This buggy didn't have one, but some enclosed buggies even have mini-propane heaters for the inside of the buggy on a cold day. Â Now, that, would be extra toasty!
