    New Bedford, Ohio

    Published: Sep 18, 2012 · Updated: Feb 2, 2021 by Kevin Williams | 3 Comments

New Bedford is a tiny crossroads village which straddles the Holmes-Coshocton County line in Ohio's Amish country.  This is the southern swath of this sprawling concentration of Amish communities.  A busy harness shop occupies one corner of New Bedford's lone busy intersection.  A convenient port-o-potty sits across the street, a welcome amenity for customers riding long distances in buggies.  Amish riding bicycles or buggies are more common here than cars at some times during the day.

      Hi Kevin,
Since my husband and I are now of the "dadyhaus" age, do you have any photos of some of them, or can you tell me how large they generally are and maybe show a few pictures of some interiors?
Our home is too large but it will stay in the family, so moving isn't in the picture.
Thanks for any help and by the way, I am an original reader and user of Elizabeth's recipes and miss her as if I knew her personally. Still read her book just for memory's sake.
      Thanks a lot.
