New Bedford is a tiny crossroads village which straddles the Holmes-Coshocton County line in Ohio’s Amish country. This is the southern swath of this sprawling concentration of Amish communities. A busy harness shop occupies one corner of New Bedford’s lone busy intersection. A convenient port-o-potty sits across the street, a welcome amenity for customers riding long distances in buggies. Amish riding bicycles or buggies are more common here than cars at some times during the day.
