    One Kettle Classic

    Published: Aug 3, 2012 · Updated: Feb 2, 2021 by Kevin Williams | 4 Comments

    By Kevin Williams

This is a classic Amish supper. Look how hearty it is, swimming with noodles, homegrown potatoes, and thick chunks of home-canned beef.

    ONE KETTLE SOUP

    1 quart of beef

    4 potatoes or more, diced

    1 package of noodles

    salt and pepper to taste

    1 onion

Cook potatoes, onions, and noodles together until done. Add beef or beef soup base to your taste.

I think that "beef soup base" is beef broth. I think I will wait for cooler weather to make this soup. It does look tasty but with the warm weather I am living on salads and sandwiches.
