UPDATE: Â So, who watched the Today Show interview with Paula Deen?
PR experts say her apology was a failure and apparently her sponsors thought so too. Â Ceaser's Palace and Smithfield Foods have severed their ties with Paula Deen over the past 48 hours. Â While her apology may have not passed muster with PR experts, I think most of mainstream America is more forgiving, Â I know I am. Â I don't condone the use of "that word" and have never used it myself but I think she's been made a scapegoat and has now been punished in her pocketbook. Â Let's move on to the next story.
