I love chains where the breakfast is served all day, the Cokes flow freely, pie sits in a display case....Eat-n-Park is a regional chain in Pennsylvania that is very much in that mold. I discovered it a couple of decades ago when traveling through the region and have been smitten ever since. You can take a look at their menu, history, etc, here.
Earlier this week when I was staying in New Stanton, Pennsylvania I was pleasantly surprised to see an Eat-n-Park right next to the hotel I was staying at, so, I got some take-out (although to really get that all-night-diner vibe, it is best to eat there).
This is the "jackpot" as far as I am concerned...Eat-n-Park, but look behind, that is another one of my Pennsylvania favorites: Sheetz....
pie case had been picked clean by day's end...
The restaurant tries to provide a cheery message...
This is my spinach torteillini, it was pretty good..the mile-high meatloaf probably would have been better since that is what they seem to be known for....
Lemon merginue pie,but I scraped off the meringue to give you a better look at the pie, but then put the merginue back on...It was really good....
