This recipe was another winner from our Chrisholm Amish-bake off. This was a really delicious bar, it's like a "super bar," a step beyond the usual simple "stir and bake."
Had I not been sampling 17 other desserts I could have gobbled up 5 or 6 of these.

Prize-Winning Yummy Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup evaporated milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 cup graham crackers
- ICING:
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- milk to desired consistency
Instructions
- Crush graham cracker crumbs and pour half into an 8½ by 11 pan. Meanwhile, In a small saiucepan mix and cook first four ingredients until lukewarm.
- Pour over graham mixture.
- Top with second half of graham crumbs.
- refrigerate for 24 hours
- Stir icing ingredients and spread onto bars.
