Random Recipe: Mrs. Byler's Easy Hamburger Dinner

    Published: Mar 17, 2016 · Updated: Mar 17, 2016 by Kevin Williams | 4 Comments

    By Kevin Williams

This is a quick, easy recipe that I found in my archives.  This is representative of the very old style of Amish cooking, because there is no "cream of mushroom", saltines, or Velveeta in this one.  While very Plain, this is a classic farmhouse recipe that would have been used by an Amish cook back in the days when they were a much more insular culture. This recipe comes to us from an elderly Amish woman in Charm, Ohio (you guessed, it her name is Byler) Enjoy!

It does sound like a simple, tasty dish, very typical Amish fare!
