The Williams Guide To Amish Country - Amish Country Guide

    Published: Nov 12, 2013 · Updated: Feb 2, 2021 by Kevin Williams | 5 Comments

    AMISH COUNTRY GUIDE

I am excited to rollout The Williams Guide to Amish Country!  You can buy the guide directly from Amazon.com and you'll start to see it appear in stores too.  I have spent the past 20 years exploring Amish, Mennonite, and Brethren communities almost from coast to coast. So why not put all that travel info into one handy guide?  If I am in Yoder, Kansas, for instance, I know where I would go for the best lodging.  If I am in northern Indiana I know where I would go for the most decadent Amish-made ooey, gooey cinnamon rolls. If I am in Rexford, Montana I know where to go to score a sumptuous Amish-made meal. If I am visiting the Amish communities in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania I know what little roadside stand I'd visit for the best produce.  This is The Williams Guide for a reason, it is a reflection of MY research and experiences over the years.   The book doesn't claim to be a guide covering every single Amish settlement in the USA, but it is a guide of some of my favorite places, people, and activities in Amish country so you can experience them too.  The book is heavily weighted towards authentic Amish experiences, generally not covering the mega-restaurants and heavily-touristed shops.  What you WILL find in the book are the chronicles of my favorite Amish settlements, listings of road-side stands, Amish suppers, Amish auctions, bake sales and activities. Also, some Mennonite and Brethren communities are chronicled.  The book is organized by state so you can easily find the community you are interested in reading about.  Click here to buy the guide directly from Amazon. Enjoy!
