    Time for our weekly whirl showcasing a handful of the legions of posts you've probably missed over the years either because you are new here or because there's no way anyone could read every post I post. So these "throwback compilations" are great ways to read new old stuff or reconnect with a favorite you forgot.  So without further delay, here goes!

    AMISH OATMEAL CINNAMON CRISPIES:  This looks like a simple, easy one that was posted way back when. I might have to try this with Aster sometime! Click for the recipe.

    AMISH WEDDING SUPPER: This was an event I attended in Highland County, Ohio a few years ago.  You can read about it, watch some videos...I don't think there are any recipes in this post, but it gives you a good feel.  This was, if I recall, a "benefit supper" to raise money for a local Amish school, so a "wedding supper" was held with all the dishes that would typically be served at an Amish wedding.     AMISH PEANUT BUTTER CUPCAKES W PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING.  Really, the word "yum" is about all that is needed here. Click for the recipe.
