I don't watch loads of videos online. For one thing, I'm usually working during the day so, unless it relates to work, I'm not watching it. Â Â And when I'm done with work in front of my computer all day the last thing I want to do is spend more time in front of my computer. Â Personally, I'd rather read than watch videos. Â But plenty of people do watch videos. Youtube would not exist if that were not the case.
I haven't had any "viral videos" on the Amish365 channel, but a few have racked up some respectable views...here are the 5 most popular ones:
AYLMER, ONTARIO: Â A video I did visiting the Amish settlement of Aylmer, Ontario has racked up about 12,000 views on YouTube. Â That is our top video to date. Click here for a quick taste of Aylmer.
BEEVILLE, TEXAS: Â My little video documentary of the Amish settlement outside Beeville comes in at number two so far. Click here to watch Beeville.
The historic Augspurger house on the Chrisholm farmstead. This was once an Amish home....
CHRISHOLM: Â Now, this is a video I didn't expect to rack up many views at all. Â I just sort of threw it up there, but it now comes it at #3 at close to 6000 views. Â Chrisholm is a historic farmstead in Butler County, Ohio that commemorates and explores and important early Amish settlement in Ohio during the 1800s. Â The Amish community once thrived on the banks of the Great Miami River about 30 miles north of Cincinnati. For a time the settlement flourished and played an important role in Amish midwestern expansion. Â I'll be giving a talk at their annual "Friends and Family"Â event on June 11 at Chrishom, stay tuned next week for more details! Click here to check out the Chrisholm video.
KIEIM FAMILY MARKET: Â My video tour of one of my favorite Amish stores - Keim Family Market - has over 5000 views. Check it out here.
UNITY, MAINE: Â My visit to the home of Amish woman Elizabeth Stoll has collected over 4000 views. Click here to see.

Hi Kevin, I enjoy reading Amish 365. I love reading Amish books and have visited Lancaster, Pa several times. In June my sister's and I will be going to Berlin, ohio and Shipshewanna, In. We are eating a meal in an Amish home. What would be an appropriate hostess gift to take.

Hi Kevin,
I just watched your video on AYLMER, Ontario. It was very interesting, but I noticed a spelling mistake in the title, Editor's Adventures, ALYMER, Ontario.
Keep up the good work, really enjoy reading Amish 365 every day.
